Knox HomeBox Program

The Cecil Township Volunteer Fire Co. #3 would like to share this information with the members of our community:

Cecil Township is excited to announce that they are now a participating member of the Knox HomeBox Program. The HomeBox is designed to securely hold a key to the dwelling. This program provides for a safe way for emergency responders access to your dwelling in the event of an emergency (Fire, Medical, Etc.). This program is ideal for the elderly who reside by themselves and do not have family nearby since it can reduce the amount of time that first responders need to wait for a family member or key holder to arrive and allow them inside of the dwelling. Some insurance companies may give a discount for having one at your residence since this reduces potential damages if first responders damage a door by forcing entry in an emergency situation.
